Present Status of Implementation of Positive Recommendation of the GDS Committee

Department of Post write to the Association on 07/07/2017 mentioning the Current Status of Implementation of Positive Recommendation of the GDS Committee, which is as follows:

Total financial implication in respect of TRCA, Annual Increment, Severance Amount, Service Discharge Benefited Scheme, Gratuity, Welfare Scheme and issue of Identity card has been workout. The proposal in this regard have already been submitted for approval of MoS(I/C). Further a committee is being constitute to examine the recommendation relating to all allowance and remaining recommendation of Kamalesh Chandra Committee.
