10-10-2018 HUNGER FAST SUCCESS

Third phase agitational programme of GDS unions at all India level was conducted successfully on 10-10-2018 in the parliament street New Delhi . GDS leaders and members from all Circles attended. AIGDSU General secretary com S.S. mahavedaiah, NUGDS, general secretary com P.U. Muralidharan, AIPEU –GDS General Secretary com.P.Pandu ranga rao , AITUC General Secretary Com. Amarjit Kaur, seniur leaders from NFPE and FNPO attended and addressed the hunger fast.

Representatives from three Unions submitted memorandum to the Hon’ble Prime Mnister, the Hon’ble Communication Minister and to the Secretary Department of Post . At the end of the Hunger fast com. S.S. mahadevaiah announced the date of indefinite strike.

Com . P.U. Muralidharan extended his support and solidarity for indefinite strike.

TWO DAYS (17th & 18th July 2018) HUNGER FAST PROGRAMME BY NFPE UNIONS IN WEST BENGAL CIRCLE

 

DEMANDS

1.   Provide appropriate infrastructure and training before introduction of CSI and RICT. For the divisions where these projects have already been rolled out, the experience is pathetic and the lack of preparation of the department is evident. Ensure proper connectivity, ease of access of central server for online modules and syncing and proper grievance redressal mechanism for non-functioning of the modules/project.

2.  Scrap the deprivation to the GDS employees in shape of fixation of TRCA while implementing the recommendations of Kamalesh Chandra Committee report and system of revision alike the departmental employees should be adopted.

3. Stop attack on Kolkata Air Fgn,  Foreign Post and Kolkata RMS. Ensure financial upgradation to erstwhile Packers of Foreign Post Kolkata (designated as Mail Peon in the year 2004) as per Dte. no. 4-4/2008-PCC (Pt) dated 07.09.2015, alike the other three Fgn Posts in the country.   

4. Ensure recruitment to all vacant posts including GDS. Stop outsourcing, privatization and contractorisation of permanent natures of work / to the permanent posts.

5. Scrap the modifications made to the recruitment rules of PA, CO and PA, SBCO immediately.

6.  Ensure payment of due benefits and wage to the Part-time and DRM workers as per prescribed rates in a time-bound manner.

7. Finalise and declare the cadre restructuring in all cadres in the department alike Postal Assistant.

Dear Comrades,

The 3 days relay hunger fast in front of all Chief Postmasters General offices in the circles - a grand success with the demands., immediate implementation of all positive recommendations of Kamalesh Chandra Committee Report for GDS & Complete the membership verification process in GDS cadre.

AIPEU GDS CHQ conveys revolutionary greetings and heartfelt thanks to all participants in the 3 days relay hunger fast programme in front of Chief Post Masters General offices of the Circles.

The leaders of NFPE, senior comrades, veteran leaders, well wishers of GDS in the Circles extended their fullest cooperation and support to our GDS programme with their participation and addressing the participants.

In some Circles viz., Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal the participation of GDS comrades appeared in hundreds.

All the CHQ office bearers & Circle Secretaries of AIPEU GDS are requested to attend the programme well in time.

All the Branch / Divisional Secretaries & GDS Members in the divisions are requested to wear BLACK BADGES in all work places on 26-04-2018 in support of the programme in Delhi.
